Jared Sonnenklar, Congress

Jared Sonnenklar was a successful Congressional debater from graduating in 2007 from Western High School in Ft. Lauderdale. He is a two-time National Forensic League Nationals finalist and Emory University Barkley Forum Champion. Jared currently is a senior at The George Washington University graduating in May with a Bachelors degree in International Affairs with concentrations in Conflict and Security and Latin America. In addition to his studies, Jared currently works for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in Washington, DC. Jared is returning for his returning for his fifth year at the Florida Forensic Institute.

Safety is Key

At the Florida Forensic Institute, the safety and well-being of our participants is a top priority. Therefore, we have taken a different approach to security than most summer programs. Our campus is staffed with security personnel, and the residential facility has security staff 24 hours-a-day. Outside of class, students are supervised by degree-holding senior staff, rather than college-age junior staff.
