Kristie Taylor, Administration

Kristi Taylor has been teaching since 1974. In 1981 she began coaching debate, and has coached successfully on both the high school and college levels. She is currently one of the coaches of the Jupiter High School squad and the current Coach of the Year for the Macaw region of the Florida Forensic League. As a long time teacher and coach of national teams, Ms Taylor is familiar with the pressures debate students are under and has the experience to help all kinds of students feel comfortable while maintaining clear disciplinary lines. She is an integral part of FFI's commitment to consistent supervision, while allowing for fun. She was beloved last year by students and staff alike! She says, "I'm a Capricorn, a fake redhead, I like long walks on the beach and well behaved debaters."

Safety is Key

At the Florida Forensic Institute, the safety and well-being of our participants is a top priority. Therefore, we have taken a different approach to security than most summer programs. Our campus is staffed with security personnel, and the residential facility has security staff 24 hours-a-day. Outside of class, students are supervised by degree-holding senior staff, rather than college-age junior staff.
