Lisa Miller, Director of Congress

Lisa Miller has been coaching forensics and teaching for 23 years. She is head coach of the Nova High School team, one of the nation's largest and most successful programs. Ms. Miller has had NFL and CFL finalists in numerous events, and champions at every major national invitational. In Student Congress, she has coached three CFL National Champions, and four NFL National Champions, in addition to dozens of finalists. Her team has won the Mundt Congress trophy multiple times, and has won the Harvard Congress Championship seven times. Ms Miller is head of Congress for the Crestian Classic, and is on the Tournament of Champions Advisory Committees in Congress and Public Forum, and also serves on the National Forensic League's Congress Advisory Committee. She is a Key Coach of the Barkley Forum at Emory University, a National Forensic League quad diamond coach, and a Gator Guard Coach at the University of Florida's Blue Key Speech and Debate Tournament. She believes Student Congress combines the best in argumentation, research, rhetoric, cross-examination skills, and the broad knowledge base of an Extemporaneous Speaker plus the Constitutional Law knowledge of a lawyer.
