Donald Crabtree, FFI and NCI Director

Don Crabtree has been teaching and coaching forensics at Park Hill High School in Kansas City, Missouri for 41 years. During that remarkable tenure, Don has been named Park Hill teacher of the year and has coached a national champion in dramatic interpretation. He is a member of the National Forensic League Hall of Fame and has earned 7 NFL diamonds, as well has having received a record 12 NFL Distinguished Service Awards. Don has been on the NFL Board of Directors since 1988 and is presently the Vice-President. Mr. Crabtree is excited to be with us at FFI, and FFI is thrilled to have a veteran coach with amazing leadership skills as our Curriculum Director.

Safety is Key

At the Florida Forensic Institute, the safety and well-being of our participants is a top priority. Therefore, we have taken a different approach to security than most summer programs. Our campus is staffed with security personnel, and the residential facility has security staff 24 hours-a-day. Outside of class, students are supervised by degree-holding senior staff, rather than college-age junior staff.
