The insightful Oratory staff have mastered the art of rhetoric, married with an understanding of what significant issues really resonate with audiences. Working tirelessly with students over the course of a week to nurture topics, brainstorming analysis, and perfecting drafts, the staff ensures the finished product is as compelling as possible.  Memorization and practice ensue, so facets of delivery can be polished with just the right cadence and tone to move an audience to believe or act.

 

The Original Oratory Extension is the workshop for you if (1) you have been working on another event--interp or extemp, for example--and you want to compete in oratory (we will help you find a topic, begin the necessary research, come up with a creative approach, and outline the speech OR (2) you  want to refine the oratory you have been writing (we will provide "advanced" writing strategies, revision guidance, and content upgrades). The key to your success in either case is the individual attention you'll receive.
