"Rout" to Indianapolis Paved by FFI Alumni

FFI Alumni were thankful the weekend before Thanksgiving on the continued road to Indianapolis with the OI champion at Villiger. At the Glenbrooks, FFI alums placed 1st and 2nd in both OI and DI. The breaks to finals in every other event are too numerous to list. FFI Congressional Debate continued its rout with 9 of the 20 Super Session participants and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.
The road to Indianapolis was further paved for FFI alumni at the Blue Key Invitational where the list of achievements just keeps getting longer and longer.· FFI alums were the champions in Public Forum Debate and FFI PF teams earned six TOC bids. ·In Congressional Debate, FFI produced the champion, and over 50% of the students advancing to the semifinal session were FFI alumni.· And, 13 of the 20 finalist in the Congressional Debate·Final Session were FFI students.
5·of the 6 participants in Original Oratory Final Round were from FFI, including a sweep of· first, second and third places.· Nine FFI students advanced to out rounds in Extemporaneous Speaking where an FFI alum took second place.
An FFI student was the champion once again in Dramatic Interpretation, in an FFI sweep·where·6 out of 6 students from FFI comprised the final round.· Oral Interpretation at Blue Key resulted in a·first, second and third place sweep for FFI students, and, in Humorous Interpretation, FFI alums took first and second places.
A grand total of 97 FFI alumni advanced to elimination rounds!

At the New York City Invitational held at the Bronx High School of Science, FFI students were the champions in Dramatic Interpretation and Oral Interpretation, together with additional finalists in Dramatic Interpretation, Oral Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation and Original Oratory.

FFI students were the champions in Dramatic Interpretation, Oral Interpretation, and Congressional Debate at the Yale Invitational, and runners-up in Public Forum Debate and Humorous Interpretation.· More that 50% of the participants in the Congressional Debate Super Session were FFI alumni, together with 13 of the 20 finalists. There were 59 FFI students in elimination rounds
After phenomenal success at the 2011 NFL National Tournament in Dallas, FFI alumni have begun paving the road to Indianapolis with success after success.· It began with the Wake Forest Early Bird Invitational, where an FFI alum was the champion in Original Oratory, and another was a finalist in Humorous Interpretation.
